Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)

AND (formerly the American Dietetic Association) provides science-based food and nutritional information. Check out the "Tip of the Day" and the "Monthly Feature" sections. Past topics have included healthy eating affordably and vegetarian lifestyles.

Partnership for a Healthier America

Partnership for A Healthier America

The Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) is devoted to working with the private sector to ensure the health of our nation’s youth by solving the childhood obesity crisis. PHA brings together public, private and nonprofit leaders to broker meaningful commitments and develop strategies to end childhood obesity. Most importantly, PHA ensures that commitments made are commitments kept by working with unbiased, third parties to monitor and publicly report on the progress our partners are making to show everyone what can be achieved when we all work together.

Provides U.S. food and nutrition news, tools, programming, facts, and is home to MyPlate, USDA's food guidance system to help Americans make healthy food choices and to be active every day.

Dietary Guidelines for Americans

Utilize the Dietary Guidelines for Americans site to access online educational material that provides advice about how to meet nutrient needs at every life stage.

MyPlate

MyPlate is the USDA's food guidance system to help Americans make healthy food choices and to be active every day. The website features practical information and tips to help Americans build healthier diets consisting of approximately 30 percent grains, 30 percent vegetables, 20 percent fruits, 20 percent protein, and smaller amounts of dairy.
