Top Fall RIT Dining Drinks and Where to Find Them
The leaves are changing around campus and it is time to start bracing for the cold. Check out these featured drinks, found on campus, that are sure to get you through the fall season. Don’t worry, they’re not all pumpkin!
Artesano Bakery & Café is featuring a Pumpkin Chai Latte that can be served hot or iced. Pumpkin has been a favorite out when it comes to fall flavors. Artesano’s Pumpkin Chai Latte is made with steamed milk, brewed chai tea, and pumpkin flavor. It can be ordered with nut milk or dairy-free milk. This drink will surely put you in the mood for sweaters and hay rides.
The students and staff at Beanz created a new milkshake called Granma’s Pumpkin Pie. This milkshake is made with pumpkin pie, gingerbread, and cinnamon flavoring, topped with whipped cream and fresh ground cinnamon. The heavy cream and whole milk is sourced locally from Upstate Farms. It tastes just like Granma's pumpkin pie! As a bonus, Beanz is featuring a new sparkling apple cider this fall.
A Starbucks favorite, the Salted Caramel Mocha will make you feel unique while everyone is drinking their pumpkin spice. This mocha is made with mocha sauce and toffee nut syrup, combined with coffee and steamed milk, then topped with sweetened whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and a blend of turbinado sugar and sea salt. Enjoy all the great flavors of fall with this sweet and salty treat.
Midnight Oil is now offering a Hot Spiced Chai Cider and a classic Hot Apple Cider. The hot apple cider is the best mixture of sweet and spicy. The extra bit of flavor from the apple cider balances the spices traditionally used in chai without one overpowering the other. Now that mornings are getting brisk, a hot apple cider, with or without chai, will surely hit the spot!
