Hot Work Permit Application
Before initiating hot work, can this job be avoided? Is there a safer way?
This Hot Work Permit is required for any temporary operation involving open flames or producing heat and/or sparks.
This includes, but is not limited to: Brazing, Cutting, Grinding, Soldering, Torch-Applied Roofing and Welding.
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for processing. An approved permit will be available for pick up at the B-99 EH&S office the next business day and must be displayed on the job site.
