The RIT Fall Planning Committee is meeting regularly to review the best and safest ways to organize move-in and orientation for new first-year, transfers, returning, and graduate students. The University will be communicating directly with you and your family to your RIT email account in the coming weeks regarding when and how you will be moving in, including a time slot that will ensure we are maintaining physical distancing procedures, and proper safety precautions.

First and foremost, our thinking and protocols will be guided by safety considerations, and are subject to change. A decision has been made that all multiple-person rooms in the residence halls will be assigned as double rooms. This means that roommate groups set up by incoming freshmen can be no larger than two students
In addition to the great accommodations, RIT’s campus offers many other helpful and convenient resources available to groups holding summer events on campus:

RIT Dining makes arrangements with all event planners for all guest meal plans.

Public Safety provides a wide variety of security services and prevention programs to the campus community.

Parking and Transportation Services is responsible for administering parking and transportation services at RIT.

If you are visiting the RIT campus and need network access you may connect to the 'rit_guest' network. If you are visiting from an eduroam participating institution, you may also connect using the 'eduroam' network here on campus.

Laundry Services

The residence halls are connected by tunnels. In the tunnels (also known as A-level) there are several laundry facilities that your guests may use during their stay. Each of the Global Village buildings has a laundry room located on the first floor. Laundry machines are free.

Health Services

Guests should notify group leaders of any health concerns.  Any accommodations that are to be made for participants with disability-based needs should be requested 30 days prior to the group's arrival.

The Hub Express is your one stop shop for all of your printing needs. The Hub Express is located in the center of campus Building 15 Monroe Hall (across from Artesano's)  Summer hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. Call 585-475-3471.
