Handblown Glass 'Lava Bowl'
This unique handblown bowl is created by blowing a crystal clear form. Hot glass bubbles of color are then blown and popped on the surface of the clear form. Each bubble overlays the next to create a blending of color and liquid motion. The bowl is finished by a final dip into clear molten glass.

Leon has developed unique glass blowing techniques over three decades to captivate the fluid energy of hot glass. Using fire, air centrifugal force, gravity, and tools to push and pull the glass; he explores and reveals the visual dimensions of massive glass, reflective interiors, and the luminosity of transparent colors to ultimately expose the pure beauty and essence of glass.
