As condo and apartment sizes shrink, the need to make small spaces livable and efficient has increased the need for innovative housewares that consider micro-living concerns. Vincent designed LIMBO - a plated metal paper towel holder with an integrated tray and a molded rod that creates friction for a one-handed tear for Umbra, a Toronto-based manufacturer of housewares in conjunction with Metaproject 07.

Vincent Lin is a Chinese American designer based in New York City. Vincent graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Industrial Design and a minor in Business Administration. As a designer, he aims to bring more benefits to help people with their everyday needs. Vincent currently works at Macy's Inc. Home Department as a design assistant.
