Animals are a favored subject - and in many cases - each animal is a friend of Maria's. She is intrigued with their fur, feathers, and wool which provide wonderful texture, and she deftly captures each personality. Each print is unique with a variation of color, layered images, and collage.

An adventurous artist who immerses herself in a variety of art, Victoria is currently smitten with the process of printmaking. She creates a herd of drypoint animals, whose unique personalities shine through their sweet likenesses. Victoria’s personal work is based on storytelling, and the idea of abstracted memory. Victoria has recently won Grand Prize in the 2016 Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival’s 2016 Poster Contest and participated in Society of Illustrator’s 2016 Student Scholarship Show.
