Kathy, born in Missouri to a military family, has developed story ideas and written stories in eight states and three foreign countries. Her short story collection, "The Last Generation of Women Who Cook," contains 16 stories about food that satisfy the hunger for a good story. She recently has published a chick lit novel entitled “What A Kiss Can Do”— a story that involves a journalist who, having given up on love and men, rethinks that after discovering what a kiss can do. Kathy is at work on more women’s fiction, a domestic drama novel that involves baseball, religion, teenagers, infidelity and possibly a few hamburgers.
