Yin Pan and Sumita Mishra Awarded Approximately $240,000 from the NSF

Computing Security Professors Yin Pan and Sumita Mishra (PI and co-PI) plus several other faculty from different units at RIT were awarded approximately $240,000 from the National Science Foundation.  The title is “Gamified Digital Forensics Course Modules for Undergraduates.”  Professor Yin Pan said “this project aims to enhance digital forensics curricula starting at entry-level for both 2-year and 4-year colleges by introducing digital forensics content using game-based learning (GBL) approach.  We propose a game-based modular approach, introducing forensics concepts and technologies through games and visualizations that allow digital forensics content to be covered at both basic and advanced levels.”
