Many Universities have an Honors College or Honors Program for students looking to expand upon their academic endeavors. I joined the RIT Honors programmy 2nd year as a late entry student. There are many perks and responsibilities that come with being in the Honors College. One benefit that is particularly important to me is the Honors trips provided every semester. As a game design student I am often asked, “Do you find more flaws in games now that you are making them?” The answer is yes but in the way that an avid movie goer may see more issues wrong with a film than the average viewer. Like how movie effects have evolved from puppet like characters to computer generated ones, games have also taken on a whole new level of detail that did not exist 20 years ago.
