You have made a great choice in the game of life.  RIT offers an amazing number of opportunities for students to study abroad.  There are so many countries and programs to apply for.  We have RIT campuses and partnerships with programs that have their own connections to other schools.  The great thing about RIT is that even if you can’t find something with an already affiliated program, you can create your own program and bridge the gaps you need.

When I first came to college, I wanted to study abroad.  I had no idea where or why.  All I knew was that I couldn’t miss the opportunity to live somewhere for four months and still be doing what I was here to do.  From that point forward I wavered between ready to go and not going at all.  I ended up in Dubrovnik, Croatia last fall at the RIT Campus and it was the best experience I have had in college.

Everyone tends to learn that when you settle in the School of Interactive Games and Media, the spring semester brings many exciting events.  One of those is GDC and the buzz is overwhelming.  Not many people know that there is another huge conference a few hours north of RIT.  Many New Medians travel to Toronto, Canada to participate in FITC: http://fitc.ca/.  Students from New Media Design, New Media Interactive Development, Game Design and Development, 3-D Digital Design, Web and Mobile Computing, and so many other majors will be traveling together to embark
