    Breakfast opens at 8:00 a.m. with the program beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m.

Interact with students in the new interdisciplinary science course who are working to answer this question - and many others - associated with the well-being of our home planet. These students will present and demonstrate the information they are using to attempt to answer worldly questions.

  5. Indoor Rock Climbing

    Get ready to climb at RIT's indoor rock climbing facility! The Red Barn houses a variety of bouldering terrain. Bouldering involves climbing shorter distances with padding to protect falls, rather than the ropes and harnesses that are used for climbing higher walls.


    Equipment and staff supervision will be provided. All visitors must be 12 years of age or older. Anyone under the age of 18 will require a waiver to be signed by a parent or legal guardian.

  9. Greenhouse Tours

    Have you ever wondered what the greenhouse looks like or what happens there? Here is your chance! Come visit the Orchid Collection left in our care from Richard and Virginia Eisenhart. See the miniature plants growing in cultures for the Plant Biotech classes and the research going on - to purify waste water into clean water, to combat invasive species, and to clean orchard soil polluted with pesticides. In spring, the greenhouse also is used to start vegetable plants for the RIT Community Garden. Be sure to stop out at the garden this weekend! 


    Tours last about 20 minutes. 10 people per tour.
