    Get ready to climb at RIT's indoor rock climbing facility! The Red Barn houses a variety of bouldering terrain. Bouldering involves climbing shorter distances with padding to protect falls, rather than the ropes and harnesses that are used for climbing higher walls.


    Equipment and staff supervision will be provided. All visitors must be 12 years of age or older. Minors will require a waiver to be signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Located on the RIT campus in the spectacular Global Village, Shop One² is a unique destination to find ceramics, blown glass, wood, textiles, jewelry, sculpture, paintings, prints, photography, music, literary publications and more.

  3. Brick City 5K Fun Run & Walk

    Registration will take place in the Grace Watson Lobby

    Take one last lap around the RIT campus before leaving for the weekend. Day-of registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Grace Watson Lobby and the race will start at 10:00 a.m. All participants will receive a T-shirt which will be distributed at the finish line.


    This event is FREE for all current RIT students and $10 for all other participants who sign up online. If you sign up at the welcome center during Brick City weekend, the cost is $15. Registration day-of the race the cost is $20.

    Take a bus tour of downtown Rochester and learn the historical, cultural, educational and recreational aspects of the city as it evolved from Flour to Flower. The highlight of the tour is a stop at the High Falls/Browns Race Historic District, which features a panoramic view of the 96-foot waterfall that powered the Rochester flour milling industry for over 100 years.
