Michael Place

Adjunct Professor, Architecture


Mr. Place has over seven years of professional work experience in the field of architecture and currently works as a project manager for a Rochester-based firm. He holds a BS in architecture from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master's degree in architecture from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Prior to coming to Rochester, Mr. Place worked in Cincinnati, New York City and Boston. He has taught foundation design studios and architectural theory courses at the Boston Architectural College, and has authored many essays on architectural theory, sustainable design systems, and building materials.
