Bill possesses a bachelor’s degree in Health Education from SUNY Cortland and a master’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion earned through the SUNY Empire State College. He has worked in corporate, commercial and medical rehabilitative settings as a health promoter and fitness specialist. He is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Specialist.

As Director of Exercise Science at RIT Bill developed the Exercise Science Program to enhance the utilization of exercise as a therapeutic modality within our healthcare system as well as focus on the science of athletic conditioning. Areas of physiology that are of particular interest to Bill include cardiorespiratory adaptations, thermoregulation during physical activity and the most compelling of all, the role of adherence to regular exercise in the preservation of functional capacity.

The mission of his educational endeavors is to seek the synergistic point of convergence where activity, good nutrition, stress management, and values clarification create a wellness lifestyle that provides an optimal life experience.

Seann McArdle, MS

Seann serves as the Assistant Director of the RIT Wellness Instructional Program where he oversees all fitness classes and instructors along with managing RIT’s Exercise Science facility known as the Fitness Lab. He enjoys sharing his passion for functional movement and strength training while striving to help others reach their fitness goals. Seann received his BS in Physical Education and Exercise Physiology from the College at Brockport and his MS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from the California University of Pennsylvania. He is a certified personal trainer, sports performance coach and professional rescuer. Additionally, Seann also holds the Exercise is Medicine credential from the American College of Sports Medicine.

Michael Fahy, EdD

Mike holds an EdD, in Higher Education Leadership and both Bachelor’s and Master's Degrees in Athletic Training. He became a Certified Athletic Trainer in 1999, and earned his Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist credential in 2004. Mike currently works at Golisano Children's Hospital as a member of the Advancement team. In the many years he has been teaching at RIT he has consistently received the highest performance ratings on the student satisfaction surveys.

Michael Stojkovic MS

Mike has a Master’s Degree in Education and is the Associate Director of Wellness for the Human Resources Department at RIT.  Mike has many years of experience delivering and administering employee health, fitness and comprehensive wellness programs in corporate, commercial and academic settings.

Timothy Keady, MS, CHES

Tim has a Master’s Degree in Health Education. He is an Exercise Scientist, Health Counselor, Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Lecturer in the Department of Public Health and Health Education at SUNY Brockport, and a retired Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-D).

Tim is the Associate Director for Student Wellness at RIT. His position is part of the Student Wellness Leadership Team. His responsibilities include assisting in the administration of Student Wellness, Supervision and Oversight of the RIT Ambulance, and supervision of student employees and volunteers (Nutrition Education and SWAT).

As the University’s Health Educator, Tim develops and delivers Institute-wide health education programs and activities, serves as a community resource on issues of emergency response, leads health promotion and disease prevention efforts, directs wellness initiatives and teams, and provides individual health counseling.

Tim brings a great deal of real world experience to his role as an adjunct in the Exercise Science Program. His goal is to provide an opportunity for students to learn and prepare for their future role as health professionals. Tim’s classes are very well received and reviewed.

Michelle Schrouder, MS

Michelle is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University, BS in Psychology and the University of Rochester, MS Counseling. Full time, Michelle is the Associate Director of the Wellness Instructional Program in the Division of Student Affairs at RIT. She holds certifications in Counseling, Coaching and Fitness from the Cooper Institute, American Association of Lifestyle Counselor, Summex Health Management, Novartis Nutrition, AFAA and other national organizations. She is very energetic and enthusiastic about the Exercise Science Program and is an excellent adjunct instructor. Her many years of experience teaching health, fitness and stress management seminars contribute to the relevant content she delivers in her classes. Along with her professional experience, Michelle was a member of the St. Bonaventure Women’s Soccer Team and is a certified New York State Soccer Coach.

Molly Gavin, BS

Molly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. She currently works as a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor in the Wellness Instructional Program through Student Affairs at RIT. Her fitness classes and personal training sessions are in high demand and represent the skills and abilities that will become part of our students’ repertoire of capacities. The course she teaches, Group Exercise, is one of the most engaging and popular classes in the curriculum. Her instruction builds a foundation of practical skills for an exercise based career.
