RIT's AMPrint Center partners with companies to develop the next-generation of 3D printing machines, materials, and applications. This exhibit will highlight many of these exciting new 3D printing technologies. Examples of what you will see include a new 3D printer from Xerox that jets droplets of molten metal, a testing machine that measures how much energy 3D printed foams can absorb for applications such as football helmets and auto body car panels, a multi-nozzle robotic 3D printer, a 3D printer that produces ultra-high strength and light weight carbon fiber composite parts, and an X-ray CT scanning machine that can see inside parts to detect defects.
