Brain-Controlled Devices and Innovative Electrodes
The Neurotechnology Exploration Team is a group of student engineers and researchers who are passionate about a brain-controlled future. Brain-computer interface (BCI) technology has the potential to improve the lives of over 40 million people worldwide with significant motor impairments. We have been developing low-cost BCIs for use with a range of devices, notably a semi-autonomous wheelchair system. NXT also uses technology to read the electrical activity from muscles (electromyography) and is working on innovative fabric-based electrodes that can be comfortably integrated into clothing. We hope you will enjoy this presentation of our most recent developments!
