Dr.-Patient Collaborative Telehealth Workflow
The Dr.-Patient Collaborative Telehealth Workflow exhibit - with participants conducting a self-exam of their blood pressure using a new Wise&Well BP app and Omron bicep-cuff blood pressure device. The app will display immediate results (for patient and remote doctor) simulating a remote asynchronous BP reading in a Telehealth scenario. Medical doctors from RRH (involved in the RIT Health Informatics MS program), will be explaining how anonymized BP data can be aggregated and analyzed, to create data visualizations that help to uncover meaningful clinical results for doctors. The demonstration will also highlight published research on a unique method for analyzing the adoption technology-mediated workflows.
