Europa Drone - Subsurface Ocean Exploration and Life Sign Detection
This exhibit showcases a prototype design for a drone meant to collect information from the subsurface oceans of Europa, one of Jupiter's moons. The drone is capable of movement, imaging, and of collecting sensory information indicative of life beneath the icy surface of the moon. Included with the exhibit are a demonstration of the drone's capabilities, examples of its performance in an aquatic environment, and technical details regarding its construction.
