FIRST Robotics Showcase

The goal of our exhibit is to get people interested in STEM and FIRST robotics. In order to accomplish this, we will be showcasing various robots, explaining how they work, and giving resources to those who are interested in joining their local FIRST robotics team. The robots that we will be showcasing will be from all the levels of FIRST robotics, including competition robots that competed at the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) event at RIT in March (assuming it is held, if not other competition-grade robots will be used). We plan to have a similar display of teams as previous years: two or more FRC teams, a full FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) field with two to four robots, and a FIRST Lego League (FLL) table. Additionally, we will have robots built by our club, the RIT FIRST Alumni Association, which were designed to be table-top competition robots that can be driven by anyone. We will also have team and club representatives available to help answer the questions of any visitors.
