P22010 team's goal for Multidisciplinary Senior Design was to create a hand-powered tricycle (trike) with an E-motor assist, which allows the disabled end-user to participate in bike rides safely and comfortably. The user should be able to maintain 10 miles per hour using the electronic motor assist for the duration of a ride. Continuing the work from P21010, our team's main focus was to improve the existing braking and steering capabilities to enhance system function and improve safety for the end-user. Additionally, ergonomic improvements were made to the trike to make it more accessible.
