Launch it! Make Your Own Catapult with the College of Engineering Technology

Location

Engineering Technology Hall - 1110

Using familiar household items, participants will build their own catapult launcher and test the success of their launcher, identifying potential modifications in design and construction. This hands-on experience provides an opportunity to apply engineering principles and learn about simple machines and mechanical energy. This exhibit will be hosted by the College of Engineering Technology Peer Mentors, a group of 2nd and 3rd year students who support students in their first year in CET. This activity is for attendees aged 8+.
