Our exhibit is the 6th iteration of the RIT Player Piano Project. The piano consists of an electrical system with PCBs that drive solenoids to create music. The music is driven by a single-board computer and the keystrokes on the piano are shown by a website UI. At this exhibit you can learn how students drafted the start of a product that tends to retail for thousands of dollars, as well as listen to your favorite songs.
