RepuCheck: A Cybersecurity Tool for the Elderly

RepuCheck is a cybersecurity tool developed for the elderly and common user. Developed with simplicity and usability at its core, the goal of RepuCheck is to be so easy to use, that even our grandparents can use it - and actually understand the results of. The program allows for two options: scanning a URL, or scanning an email to check for maliciousness. Upon receiving the respective inputs on the updated and simplistic display, RepuCheck runs algorithms on the back end to determine a safety score. Following a stoplight approach, RepuCheck then returns the safety ranking to the user - removing the confusing jargon and definitions commonly found on other reputation checking tools and websites.
