Riptide - Up Close Effects of Ocean Pollution

Side-by-side photos of RIT students and activities with the text See How RIT is Advancing the Exceptional underneath.

Our exhibit, Riptide, is an augmented reality experience that you can visit from anywhere via mobile phone, and interact with to learn about the severity of ocean pollution. To use Riptide, users can visit a website where they can manipulate pollution factors to simulate how underwater pollution might look in the future, then view the scene they've created in their own environment through their phone camera.
