RIT Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
Come chat with some of the members of the RIT SWE (Society of Women Engineers) Chapter. We will have 2 interactive activities for people of all ages to try out. There is a Rube Goldberg Machine, which is a chain reaction type machine that performs a simple task in a cool and more interesting way. There is also a logic puzzle to give your inner engineer a time to shine! The puzzle involves gears and clues to help guide you in your efforts to place the gears in the correct location. Also at the exhibit there will be various members of SWE (ranging in year and major here at RIT). We are excited to chat with you and tell you about our club and how we benefit women and nonbinary people at RIT. SWE overnight, a program designed for high school juniors to get an inside peak of engineering here at RIT will also be displayed. We are happy and ready to answer any additional questions you may have. See you there!
