RoboChimes: Autonomous music playing robots / 1st year ME students

Location

James E. Gleason Hall - 2nd Floor Room 2271

Autonomous music playing robots (RoboChimes) will be demonstrated by their creators! As part of the first year mechanical engineering curriculum, students (in teams of 3-4 people) choose a song to play and then design, build, program, test, and debug their prototypes to play that song. This project is a blend of technology and music which requires students to overcome many challenges in order to develop a working prototype. The students who created each RoboChime will be on hand to demonstrate their work and tell you about their design journey.
