The Solar Fruit Dryer Senior Design project is a unit which can help combat the major losses of mangos and breadfruits rural Haitian farmers experience every year. It dries up to 8 kg of fruit in a day, has a low-power mode to operate through the night, uses solar power and is independent from the grid.
