Visual Media Senior Capstone Walkthrough
Visual Media students take an expanded view of photography and combine it with other mediums. They are celebrated for the diversity of their projects that range from Advertising Photography, Video, and Interactive Projects. The 11 graduating Visual Media seniors have specifically designed their projects this year to be interactive and with tangible objects to give away at Imagine RIT and look forward to presenting their Final Capstone Walkthrough during Imagine. Highlights of the 11 projects are: An interactive mobile app designed to encourage those with a language barrier to be able to connect based on a physical card game (handouts to spectators at Imagine). A student entrepreneur who is developing a Miniature Bakery Etsy Store marketing tiny baked goods (currently trending on TikTok). A magazine about color and emotion where spectators will interact with a magnetic display of color. Six students will create a Gallery of photo and design work, videos and an ad campaigns with marketing materials such as stickers, postcards, and other creative objects and take-aways.
