Poking fun at Rochester’s bizarre weather, The Weather Machine is a collection of various scientific experiments presented in a fun and humorous way. The projects form a panorama of bite-sized weather and climate models for viewers to enjoy—with plenty of bells and whistles for the added whimsey. With so many projects coming together in this outlandish mish-mash, it might just control the weather after all! Viewers are supposed to be able to see a variety of different things as they view different portions of the display, with the intention that there are so many different things, it would be impossible to see them all without looking at the project from numerous angles. As an entertaining display of various science, The Weather Machine incorporates a variety of STEM concepts into a singular idea, while also having the potential to provide education about weather and climate concepts to a variety of audiences.
