Learn how we are developing new approaches to providing accessible experiences for the Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing in video games such as Fortnite and Apex Legends. Due to the nature of these games, it is disadvantageous when you are unable to access the sounds for spatial awareness. Audio sounds such as footsteps and nearby conflicts are converted into visual cues for spatial information which provides accessibility.
