Description:
Essential Tremor is a movement disorder that causes rhythmic shaking. The tremor can occur to the arms, hands, fingers, and progress to the head, neck, and voice. A team two years ago developed a wearable device to mitigate shaking due to tremor, and we have created an arm test rig capable of producing tremor-like shaking to test the mitigation device. Along with P19043, we can measure the tremor of a participant, reproduce it on our arm, and show how much it is reduced by the mitigation device.
