COVID-19 Information and Updates
The ITS ResNet office is open limited hours to start the fall semester. We have phone coverage from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and are available for 30 minute appointments for personal device support. We are not currently accepting computers in our tech center for drop-off repair service, and have temporarily suspended our in-room "house call" service offerings. To browse our self-help knowledge base or get a support ticket created, please visit https://help.rit.edu.
This page will help you connect your device to the wireless network while in Mac OS X.  Most devices running Mac OS X can be connected using the "Quick Set-Up," option.  If you find that you are having trouble connecting to the wireless network after attempting a Quick Set-Up, please follow the link on the bottom of this page for instructions on how to do an "Advanced Set-Up."

Quick Setup

  1. Click on the wireless icon on the Apple Menu Bar and select RIT.

  2. A window will pop up and ask you for your "enterprise credentials" which is where you enter your RIT Computer Account username and password. Click Join.

  3. Next, you will need to accept the Wireless Certificate by clicking Continue.

  4. Next, type your Mac OS X username & password to store the certificate onto your machine. (If your Mac user account does not have a password, click OK to store the password.)

  5. Once the certificate has been accepted, you will be connected to the RIT wireless network,
