Molly, a 3 year old lab mix, has had the misfortune of having a leg amputated within the last two years as well as getting hit by a car. The most recent accident left her pelvis fractured and inoperable on the side of her one remaining leg. Unable to afford the medical costs to surgically support the hip with a metal plate, the owners had to turn her over to Lollypop Farm Humane Society. Due to the kind heart of head surgeon Dr. Christina, Molly was given a second chance and is now being fostered with a high likelihood of adoption. Due to the amputation site, and Molly’s rotund body, a great deal of force is being placed on Molly’s remaining limb, and injured pelvis. In order to alleviate and permanently reduce the stress, a cart, or even prosthetic limb is needed.
