Applied Cryptography & Information Security Lab

The Applied Cryptography and Information Security Research Laboratory (ACIS) focuses on design, analysis, and implementations of cryptographic primitives, algorithms, and architectures targeting embedded, hardware and hardware-software systems. To secure sensitive data during transmission and storage we utilize classical cryptography techniques, such as public and private-key cryptosystems. However, since those techniques do not allow for data to be manipulated while it remains encrypted, we also look at the emerging technique of Homomorphic Encryption (HE), where such operations are possible.
