Electromechanics and Power Electronics Laboratory
Advanced research, technology developments and interactive teaching are performed in enabling electromechanical systems and power electronic. Integrated micro-electromechanical and mechatronic systems are designed, tested and evaluated. The aforementioned systems are widely used in automotive, aerospace, biotechnology, energy, medical, naval and robotic applications. Undergraduate and graduate students participate in scholarship activities, gain knowledge, obtain a learning experience and acquire expertise in advanced engineering, science and high technologies. Clean renewable energy systems and sources are researched. The project-based and hand-on laboratory-centric Mechatronics, Power Electronics, Electronics and Micro-Electromechanical Systems courses are taught using procured hardware, software and facilities.
Equipment: PC Workstation, Tek TDS2012 Scope, Agilent E3631A Power Supply. Agilent 33120 Function Generator, Agilent 34401A Multimeter.
We are grateful for support from Analog Devices, Maxon, STMicroelectronics and Texas Instruments.
