For the last several decades, volunteer groups have played a pivotal role in keeping RIT’s curriculum relevant and current with the latest industry trends. The groups of 10 to 30 leaders from a wide variety of companies come together a few times a year to offer their insights for RIT faculty and staff in nearly every college.
Saunders College of Business’ MBA program has been noted for being among the best full-time programs in the nation in Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2019 rankings. Saunders College ranked No. 93 overall, with an entrepreneurship rating of No. 67, in the annual MBA rankings of graduate business schools. The college also ranked No. 80 in learning, and No. 90 in networking.

Simone Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, featuring informational networking sessions, a student business pitch competition and a keynote address from a strategist at one of the world’s best-known ridesharing companies.
RIT computing security lecturer Justin Pelletier is back to his regular office hours this semester, after taking part in a six-month-long military tour in Afghanistan earlier this year. As an Army Reserve counterintelligence officer, Pelletier traveled across Afghanistan and was based in the special operations headquarters, helping to assess and counter foreign threats.

At an Oct. 29 celebration at RIT, E. Philip Saunders announced a $7.5 million gift to the business college that bears his name. This transformational gift will be used to help fund a major renovation and expansion of the facilities in Max Lowenthal Hall, home of Saunders College of Business.

Representatives from more than 50 local and national corporations, federal agencies and nonprofit organizations looking to diversify their workforce will meet with hundreds of deaf and hard-of-hearing students—who also are prospective employees—at the 19th annual Career Fair on Oct. 17.
