Political science and marketing double major completes co-op at U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York
Political science and marketing double major Christopher Ferrari recently completed his co-op at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York (SDNY). Ferrari, who is from Spencerport, N.Y., received the Kristine and John Simmons Public Policy Scholar Internship Fund to help make this co-op more affordable.

Metaproject 14 gives students a chance to leave their mark on the RIT campus landscape
For this semester's Metaproject industrial design initiative, students will work with RIT President David Munson to design concepts for a series of outdoor, hands-on museum installations for the Henrietta campus. The outdoor installations will tell the story of RIT in a way that is immersive and engaging to passersby on campus. Each student is tasked with creating a concept for one of the 14 installations.

RIT Launch Initiative team soars to first competition win in Spaceport America Cup 2023
RIT’s Launch Initiative won first place in the Space Dynamics Laboratory Payload Challenge this summer in Las Cruces, N.M. They were among nearly 6,000 students from 159 international collegiate teams at the annual competition that challenges students to launch solid, liquid, or hybrid rockets to altitudes of 10,000 and 30,000 feet.

Matt Hartensveld named as a SEMICON West 20 Under 30 future microelectronics industry leader
From building a cleanroom in his family home while he was in high school to becoming an entrepreneur and Ph.D., it is no wonder that RIT alumnus Matt Hartensveld is viewed as a future leader in the microelectronics industry. He was recently named SEMICON West 20 under 30 awardee, given by the organization to recognize the microelectronic industry’s brightest young leaders.
