Gender, communications to be discussed at conference

How the technologies of communication media influence women in the work place, on the land and in the home-and other issues pertaining to mass communication technologies and gender-will be explored during the conference, "Communication Technology and Media: The Gender Questions Enduring and Emergent Issues." The conference will be held at RIT Oct. 4-5 and is sponsored by the William A. Kern Professor in Communications in the College of Liberal Arts and Women’s Studies Quarterly. Conference highlights include film and video screenings exploring gender and media, speakers, panels of scholars and other events. For more information, contact Diane Hope, William A.
