Jewish holidy observances

RIT’s Hillel program will observe the Jewish high holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur with services on campus. Hillel will also host a New Year’s Erev dinner after Erev Rosh Hashanah services and a Break the Fast following Yom Kippur services. All services are open to RIT faculty, staff and students, and take place in the Interfaith Center. Services are interpreted for the deaf and hard of hearing. The holiday schedule includes:

Rosh Hashanah:
Monday, Sept. 17-Erev services at 7 p.m., followed by New Year’s Erev dinner. Cost is $8.
Tuesday, Sept. 18 - Services at 9:30 a.m.; 3 p.m.; 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 19 - Services at 9:30 a.m.; 3 p.m.; 7:30 p.m.

Yom Kippur:
Wednesday, Sept. 26 - Kol Nidre service at 6 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 27 - Services and Break the Fast begin at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $5.
