Stack Whitney participates in data and misinformation workshops

Kaitlin Stack Whitney, assistant professor in the science, technology and society department, was selected by the Social Sciences Research Council to take part in a national faculty workshop, “Teaching Disinformation Studies in Higher Education,” on March 19, hosted by the SSRC’s MediaWell initiative, the Harvard University Shorenstein Center, and the University of Washington Center for an Informed Public. Stack Whitney was also selected to participate in the academic workshop “Trust and Doubt in Public Sector Data Infrastructure” on March 25, hosted by Data And Society, an independent research organization.
