RIT to Hold Mini-medical School

Learn about the science of medicine in layman's terms during a mini-medical school teleconference to be held at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Classes will be held from 7 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. every Wednesday, from March 7 through April 11, in Wallace Library on the RIT campus.

The six-week teleconference is designed for the general public and is appropriate for high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in medicine. The program will introduce participants to courses offered in medical school.

RIT?s Premedical Students Association is sponsoring the program in conjunction with the Educational Technology Center at RIT and the State University of New York Upstate Medical University.

The registration fee is $45. To register, or for more information, call the premedical studies office at 475-7105 or visit the Web page www.rit.edu/~premdwww/minimed. Deadline is March 2. ##

    RIT Global students set to present at Imagine RIT

    Students from RIT’s global campuses will be making the trek to the U.S. for this year’s Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival. Teams from all of RIT's global campuses will be presenting their exhibits in the Gordon Field House; this is the second year that students from global campuses will be attending the festival in person.
