The RIT men’s hockey team is going to the NCAA Tournament for the third time as a Division I program and for the 16th time in program history after defeating top-seed Robert Morris, 7-4, in the Atlantic Hockey Championship on March 19. . RIT will play Quinnipiac University in Albany, N.Y. on March 26.

Tickets for this weekend’s NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Regional from the Times Union Center in Albany are on sale at the Gene Polisseni Center, Times Union Center and Ticketmaster.com.

There will be limited bus space available for RIT students who would like transportation to and from Albany. The fan bus will leave RIT at 10 a.m. Saturday and return immediately following the conclusion of the first game on Saturday. Students must purchase a weekend pass to receive a bus pass.

In 2010, RIT’s Corner Crew and student fans were the talk of the college hockey world as their unbridled enthusiasm, innovate chants and passion for the university was noted on many media and fan sites, as the team made its memorable run to the Frozen Four. Let’s hope, with your support, to recreate that magic in 2016, starting in Albany this weekend.
