President’s Address to the Community set for Friday

President David Munson addressed the crowd during New Student Convocation on Wednesday.
The President’s Address to the Community will be held at 9 a.m. Friday in Ingle Auditorium, Student Alumni Union. Heidi Nickisher, chair of Academic Senate; Cathy Clarke, chair of Staff Council; Bobby Moakley, president of Student Government; and Keith Jenkins, vice president and associate provost for Diversity and Inclusion, will each welcome us to the new academic year and briefly share their plans for the upcoming year. President David Munson will then deliver his address. A coffee hour will immediately follow the President’s Address in the Fireside Lounge.
All members of the RIT community are invited and encouraged to attend this event. A live stream is also available at rit.edu/president/2018-president-address-stream.

RIT Global students set to present at Imagine RIT
Students from RIT’s global campuses will be making the trek to the U.S. for this year’s Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival. Teams from all of RIT's global campuses will be presenting their exhibits in the Gordon Field House; this is the second year that students from global campuses will be attending the festival in person.
