Fall 2020

We would also like to welcome our new program director, Betsy Dell! Betsy joined RIT in 2005 and is a Professor in the Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering Technology Department in the College of Engineering Technologly. AdvanceRIT is not new to her as she served as a co-PI on the NSF Institutional Transformation Grant, CONNECT RIT (NSF ADVANCE 1209115). Her work on diversity efforts have been recognized by RIT. She was the recipient of the 2015 Isaac L. Jordan Faculty Pluralsim Awad which recognizes faculty members for their significant contributions to enhance diversity at RIT and the 2012 Edwina award which recognizes significant to support gender diversity at RIT. Betsy is also an RIT parent. Two of her sons have graduated and one is a current student.
