Kent Kennedy

Kent Kennedy is a loyal native of Texas, and also a Texas School for the Deaf alumnus. He attended Rochester Institute of Technology/National Technical Institute for the Deaf in New York. He currently resides in Austin. 

He is the proud father of two daughters, and has a granddaughter and two grandsons. He has tutored and taught ASL at several places such as NTID, TSD, Austin Community College, Austin Sign Language School and Texas Education Agency – Communication Skills Workshop.

He has worked closely with interpreters for almost thirty years. He was involved in the Deaf community as a vice president and then president of National Association of the Deaf. He always enjoys being a stand-up comedian. He loves teasing people, which includes (and especially so) his own family.
