Faith Falco

Sport/Position: Track & Field/ long distance runner

Graduation Year: 2022

Major: Electrical Engineering

Why did you pick RIT/NTID? I chose RIT because of my interest in engineering. This was my dream college since 8th grade. The deaf and hard-of-hearing community here is so friendly and engaging. I am glad I chose RIT/NTID.

Clubs/ Activities: CRU

Hobbies/ interest outside of activities: I enjoy playing Nintendo games (Mario Kart, Kirby, Mario Party) with my brother and sisters, playing the viola, and watching action/drama anime.

What is the best part about being here as RIT/NTID student athlete? RIT has a very diverse community, so I enjoy mingling with new athletes from different backgrounds and getting to know them. I started running long distance when I was 10 years old, and I enjoy every aspect of the sport—from practice sessions to the meets.

Favorite on-campus food spot: Salsaritas at the Cantina and Grille and the Dining Commons

Where do you do your homework? Mostly in my dorm and sometimes at the SDC.

What’s your life motto? “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11New International Version (NIV)
