Jessica is an Assistant Professor in the Masters of Science in Secondary Education program at National Technical Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology. Her primary research interest is developing evidence-based decoding interventions for secondary readers who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH). Her current focus is teaching students who are DHH morphology that can be access through printed English. Jessica recently joined CERP after working at the Idaho School for the Deaf and receiving her PhD from Georgia State Unviersity. She currently is engaged in a number of research projects with various colleagues at NTID and elsewhere, all aimed at improving instruction for DHH students .
