An RIT/NTID Center of Excellence for Students Who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Mark Rosica

At NTID for over 35 years, Mark has served in a number of administrative and student-focused roles, and currently is a counselor in the Department of Student and Academic Services. He also serves on a variety of RIT student-focused committees. His background in psychology, rehabilitation counseling, and family therapy has been extremely helpful in working with students, supporting their persistence in college and their taking advantage of personal and academic opportunities. Toward that end, he has become involved in research into social-emotional, cognitive, and demographic factors associated with persistence in college and lifelong success.
