Join us as we close our three exhibitions Color to the Cube, Please Touch, and Deaf Pride 6x6. This is your final opportunity to purchase art from any of the three exhibitions, prices starting at 20. If you are unable to attend, but are interested in purchasing artwork, please email Dyerartscenter@gmail.com and request an updated price list. (Serious inquires only). Free and open to the public, there will be light refreshments provided.
Children (ages 5 - 18) are invited to Toyland with Deaf Poets and Storytellers, hosted by the Deaf Rochester Film Festival, (DRFF), elves!
The legendary Deaf poet, Patrick Graybill, will be signing holiday stories with our Deaf librarian, Joan Naturale! Also, deafgreenthumbs, our special guests, will educate you about the Christmas tree during holiday skits.
Led by our DRFF creative elf, Malvana, you will be painting designs on wood ornaments and decorating holiday shaped cookies! During the workshop, we will have a holiday movie screening (the movie will be selected by YOU the attendees!). The cookies will be made by a local Deaf-owned bakery, Golden Harvest Bakery and Cafe. Supplies for the ornaments will be provided by Dyer Arts Center.
